Details

Health Wildcatters is one of the top 20 startup accelerators in the country. The secret to their success is their 12-week mentor-driven program that focuses on improving healthcare by supporting entrepreneurs and healthcare startups that are developing innovative solutions. The program offers health-focused startups in the early stages of funding an initial seed investment, as well as access to mentors, advisers, office space, and strategic resources in order to help them grow and thrive. At the end of the 12-week “boot-camp” the startups are put to the test as they pitch their ideas in-front of 500 industry members and investors. Health Wildcatter’s “graduates” have secured MILLIONS of dollars in seed funding.

My role as the Digital Media/UX Intern was to support these startups in all digital formats. This included pruning and evaluating the startup’s web presences. Auditing and advising improvements to web sites and apps. Creating strategic content and formatting for a monthly newsletter with over 1,000 subcribers. Evaluating and editing pitch decks and speeches.
